Toddler-friendly meatballs


Ingredients for 40 pieces:

- Carrots: 1.5
- Mushrooms: 125 g
- Garlic: 1 clove of garlic
- Eggs: 1
- Breadcrumbs: 100 g
- Onion: 1/2
- Zucchini: 1/2
- Ground meat: 1/2 kg
- Parmesan cheese: 50 g
- Herbs of Provence: ½ teaspoon

The sauce for Meatballs:

- Onion: 1/2
- Tomatoes peeled into pieces: 400 g
- Bouquet garni: 1/2
- Salt and pepper
- Garlic: ½ clove of garlic
- Olive oil: 1/2 soup spoon
- Sugar: 1/2 teaspoon.

Meatballs and vegetable preparation :


1. Cut the carrots, onion, mushrooms, and zucchini into small cubes. Fry the onion in a drizzle of olive oil. Peel the cloves of garlic and add them with the other vegetables. Cook them al dente. Salt, pepper and let cool.

2. Mix vegetables with chopped, eggs, grated parmesan and bread crumbs. Salt, pepper and add the herbs of Provence.

3. Shape small balls the size of a ping pong ball. Cook them in olive oil.

4. Prepare the sauce. Finely chop the onion and peel the garlic. Fry onion and garlic in olive oil. Add tomatoes, bouquet garni, sugar, salt, and pepper. Let simmer, 20 minutes. Add the meatballs and finish cooking, 5 minutes.
