Kidney bean burgers
If your little one loves kidney bean burgers, you'll be delighted with this easy recipe - especially as it only takes a few minutes, and the whole family will love this delicious vegan recipe.
As a mother, attempting to keep up a healthy eating routine can be hard. Since you are attempting to ensure the children are getting balanced nourishment. For me, beans and vegetables are significant. Since as a kid, I ate a great deal of these. My mother made beans and greens leave the same amount of as she made meat or some other vegetable. We adored it.
Kidney bean burgers: INGREDIENTS
- 1 canned red kidney beans. Approximate 400 gr.
- 1 big shredded carrot or two if small
- 1 big leek
- 2 garlic cloves
Seasoning to your taste, I added pepper, chilli powder, and parsley. (A pinch of salt for my partner and me)
- 1 cup flour
- Olive oil for frying or butter
Kidney bean burgers: METHOD
1. Smashed the canned beans and mix with the shredded carrot.
2. Meanwhile slow fry the tiny chopped leek in a pan with some olive oil and when soft add chopped garlic and wait until done.
3. Once soft add leek to the previous mash (smashed beans and shredded carrot). Mix everything and add your seasoning.
4. Add the flour mix all very well (add some more flour if you need until you get a mash that can be moulded into burger shape).
5. Add 2 tbsp olive oil to a preheated pan and fry.
It does not take too much time. Just a couple of minutes but keep checking we do not want them to burn.
Et voila,
