Air fryer asparagus recipe with no oil

Air fryer crispy asparagus

Air fryer crispy asparagus is one of my favorite healthy meals. I recommend this recipe as a perfect choice for every mum.

FIRST STEP:
preparation of ingredients
Crispy Asparagus meal: An easy healthy side dish in less than 10 minutes.

My recipe is a sufficient dish for two people. So we need :

  • A bunch of asparagus
  • A tablespoon of flour,
  • An egg,
  • Salt, (you can add some mashed garlic if you like)
  • A little olive oil and freshly ground pepper.

How to clean asparagus?

To start, I wash the asparagus well by rinsing the spears under cool water to remove any grit. Snap off the bottom inch or so using my fingers, then I peel them from the bottom of the tip to the base. Once well peeled, I cut the feet and I keep only half of the asparagus. I do not really like the part that can be stringy. I season everything and go to the next step.

SECOND STEP:

Sauteed asparagus with no oil

(Delicious and quick recipe to serve in no time)

How to cook asparagus in air fryer?

Before putting the asparagus in the fryer, I prepare two bowls. One contains the beaten egg and the other contains flour.

I dip each asparagus successively in the flour and then in the egg.

I put it all in the air fryer tank to get a sauteed asparagus instead of roasting in the oven.

I then pour a slight hint of olive oil and close the fryer.

Then I choose "vegetables" in the program and start cooking.

To better bring out the taste of my very healthy and balanced dish, I accompany it with fried sauce. Otherwise, you can also choose to accompany it with tartar sauce or fresh herb sauce.

The great thing about this recipe is that it is very easy to make. Anyone can do it. Using the air fryer guarantees me a healthy diet.

Air fried asparagus will be your new perfect veggies side, you will love it.

You could add breadcrumbs to make the asparagus crispier so everyone can eat and enjoy the asparagus fries.

How do you clean asparagus?

Rinse the spears under cool water to remove any grit. Snap off the bottom inch or so using your fingers; the stems will naturally break where the tough woody part ends and the tender stem begins. Dry the spears by rolling them between two kitchen towels.
